Taijiquan classes on break for the holidays. Classes restart in 2025 on Wed Jan 29th, 6:30 to 8:00.
The class introduces the principles and movements of this ancient Chinese martial and healing art. We focus on development of balance, harmony, physical strength, and flexibility through the discipline of mindful practice of slow, fluid movements. In addition to its potential for self-defense, Taiji is a zero-impact weight-bearing exercise that helps to develop physical and mental awareness, improve coordination, reduce stress, and promote general health and well-being. Ongoing study emphasizes refinement of principles as well as additional, more complex applications/forms. Wen Wu School of Taiji meets weekly on Wednesday nights 6:30-8:00. All are welcome. Drop in, or reach out to the Teachers.
