Mari has been practicing yoga for over 15 years, and gained certification through a teacher training in Portland OR in 2013.
While traditionally trained in Hatha yoga (think longer holds, more anatomy cues), her teaching and practice styles have been heavily influenced by creative flows and functional, dynamic movements over recent years. Expect a healthy mix of breath-led flow and functional holds.
Mari also holds certifications for Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga with a focus on pelvic floor health and recovery.

First drawn to yoga for personal wellness, healing, and growth, it has also enhanced Heather's professional knowledge as a mental health therapist. The practice of yoga closely aligns with her clinical knowledge, approach to therapy and as a healing agent for trauma recovery. Her goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for all to explore their healing journey.
Heather has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years, with foundations in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), specializing in child and adolescent populations and trauma healing. She is certified in Brainspotting and EMDR therapiesand currently pursuing certification in Somatic Experiencing.
Certified Yoga Instructor and Cranial-Sacral Therapist. Teaches yoga appropriate for all levels, and people with physical limitations/injuries.
Rob found his passion for yoga when he started taking classes at Blue Heron Yoga with his mentor and teacher, Terri Cotts. He is a registered yoga instructor through Yoga Works/Yoga Alliance and has a decade of teaching experience. He has taught at multiple fitness and yoga facilities throughout the Walla Walla Valley.
